Regional Field Manager for Michigan Republican Party (MIGOP.org) in Genesee County Michigan.I worked for the Michigan Republican Party under the leadership of Chairman Bobby Schostak and MRP Executive Director Kim Jorns as a Regional Field Manager in Genesee County in the 2014 elections and was part of the Largest Ever One Day Door-to-door Contact operation in US History as we contacted over 320,000 voter households in one day during a non presidential election year.My team did about 1% of that overall total that day. This was done under the excellent leadership of State Field Director Dan Hennessey and Deputy State Field Director Justin Bis.Contacted over 25,000 unlikely voters by door to door canvassing and over 50,000 voters by phone during a non Presidential election year as well as set up events with elected officials and candidates to encourage voters to vote during the 2014 election cycle. Personally recruited, and trained, over a dozen volunteers to make voter contacts and run Election Day operations to turn out these voters. The end result is we successfully re-elected all Republican Statewide office holders (Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General), and increased the number of Republican State Senators from 26 to 27 of 38 members (a supermajority +1), and increased the Republican Representation in the Michigan House of Representatives from 60 to 63 of 110 members. Genesee County Michigan is a very Blue (60+%), Democrat controlled county but we were able to increase Republican turnout by 115% and had 3 very close elections in which the Republican Party in Genesee County could have taken two Democrat County Commission seats and won another State House seat in the Michigan Legislature.Region 5.2 = the Townships of Montrose, Vienna, Mount Morris, Thetford, Forest, Richfield, Genesee, and Davison and the Cities of Burton, Davison, Clio, Mount Morris, Montrose, Flushing and Swartz Creek.
