Olive Creek 2 Capital Project; Mechanical Engineer (Apr 2024 - Present)-Work with internal technology group to develop requirements for OEM technology package to hand over to EPC contractor to execute scaling up of first of a kind methane pyrolysis reactors. -Interface with EPC contractor as main client point of contact to ensure technology package requirements are understood and clearly implemented in contract and submittal documents throughout all phases of EPC project. -Work with internal stakeholders and technology designers to clarify technology package requirements and request changes and/or clarifications as needed for implementation into OC2 project build.Olive Creek 1 Plant Support; Mid Capital Project Manager (Apr 2023 - April 2024)-Project Manager responsible for procurement through startup of propriety reactor internals replacement projects on first of a kind and largest methane pyrolysis reactor in the world ($8MM total scope)-Implemented project receiving and organization methods to securely stage thousands of parts upon arrival to the job site to allow for quick material retrieval by construction crews. This reduced downtime by ~2 days compared to previous projects of similar scope.

-Program Manager for compliance program to upgrade ~150 centrifugal pump seals to reduce process safety risk. Responsible for management of $2MM yearly budget.-Program Manager for two real-time data acquisition projects with the goals of enabling predictive analytics on high consequence rotating equipment to reduce process safety risk and downtime. Responsible for management of $500M yearly budget.-Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Investigations -Rotational assignment on $100MM turnaround event as Chevron Construction Field Representative responsible for safe and timely execution of $10MM worth of scope including piping, column, exchangers, machinery, instrumentation and electrical. Work was complete during a 5 week outage window. Followed all work scope through completion and commissioning. Finished on budget and 3 days ahead of schedule with peak headcount of 60 contractors.

-Provided technical support for 24/7/365 daily operations on integrity threats, leak seals, plant upset response, daily maintenance inquiries, technical change evaluations (MOC), and profit improvement projects to help maintain safe, reliable, and profitable plant operation. -Supported planning process for turnaround construction projects ranging from $5MM-$150MM by: providing detailed project scoping, writing executable engineering work packages, and ordering complex processing equipment ($5MM) for plants with lost profit opportunities up to $3MM/day. -Supported execution of 6 turnaround construction projects as owner's technical representative by providing technical guidance on issues as they arose in the field, striving to find solutions that were executable and had minimal impact on project schedule, but were also technically sound.

Modernization Project ($2B) - Chevron Richmond RefineryHydrogen Tie-In Project ($56MM)—field engineering support for civil, structural, and mechanical piping construction: monitored and reported on scope schedule and budget, wrote and submitted RFIs, ordered materials, managed subcontractor work flow, etc.
