* Maintain, upgrade, and tune Cisco Wireless infrastructure property-wide* Deploy and administer Cisco Security products such as Umbrella and Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch)* Spin-up virtual servers and configure them to specifications prescribed by the vendor* Collaborate with other groups within the IT Department to troubleshoot network issues for individual users as well as wide-spread outages* Provide and maintain remote access solutions such as Anyconnect VPN and SecureLink for employees and vendor support teams* Prepare documentation in support of new technologies vetted by the Network Operations team to be presented to management

Support the US Army Reserve Command network by doing the following:* Troubleshoot physical LAN connectivity for end-users including cabling and isolation of faulty network hardware* Inspect and/or apply correct VLAN trunking and access port configuration to core, distribution , and access switches * Ensure port-security is enabled on switchports in order to mitigate unauthorized network access* Utilize Verizon’s Integrated Testing System (ITS) to analyze customer T1 Circuits for errors and fault conditions* Refer last-mile circuit issues to the LEC to correct circuit faults and equipment failures* Monitor enterprise network for site outages and respond according to SLA* Create DHCP reservations for network devices such as printers, computers, and digital scanners* Recommend upgrades and topology changes to the network engineering and implementation teams * Participate in the ongoing development of process and procedural documentation

* Provide monitoring solutions for systems spanning multiple teams through the implementation of SolarWinds Orion and System Center Operations Manager. * Assist in the change management process by reviewing requests for change and ensuring that all necessary documentation is included before submitting to the designated approver.* Seek out requirements from functional team members and translate into solutions for systems monitoring.* Create rules and two-state monitors in order to provide comprehensive monitoring of software processes and application errors using SCOM 2007 R2.* Attain in-depth knowledge of Windows NT Event Logs and X-path variables to facilitate granular notifications to systems and applications teams.* Participate in the implementation of IBM Tivoli to aggregate monitoring feeds to provide correlation of events.

* Provide Tier 2 tech support to a customer base of 22,000+. * Monitor all network devices across 15 markets and respond immediately to network issues as they arise. * Provide IT support for all employees. * Develop written or unwritten policies and procedures that help to streamline fundamental business processes. * Document network maintenance and ensure that the proper notifications are sent. * Report directly to the Director of Network Operations and CIO.
