Coalition for Green Capital (CGC) is a non-profit financial institution with the mission to halt climate change by accelerating investment in clean energy technologies. As COO, tasked with operationally creating a de novo $5+ billion national green bank leveraging Federal capital and investing directly in clean energy projects and indirectly through a national network of local green banks and community development financial institutions. Oversee operations, technology, data analytics, compliance and administration including procurement under Federal guidelines.

Pro-bono position providing guidance and advice to the UNDP Investment Committee, which manages over $10 billion in global investments and foreign exchange. Ensure investment activities are conducted in accordance with UNDP’s Investment Policy and Guidelines. Focused on compliance, performance against benchmarks and changes to policies and guidelines. Also provide advice with regards to best practices and insights into hedging strategy, portfolio credit and risk management.

Selected by the Board to transform this $2 billion quasi-public corporation, initially established as a centralized hub of infrastructure investment centered on water and roads/bridges. Focused on creating an innovative, 21st century environmental finance institution, i.e., a blue/green bank, with an expanded role in clean energy and transportation, climate resiliency, and brownfield remediation. Increased number of loan and grant programs from 5 to 14 while increasing annual loan/grant volume by 125% and new business by over 35%. Expanded capital funding while increasing the volume and efficiency of capital markets financing. Significantly enhanced governance, productivity, compliance/risk management and staff performance management and compensation policy. Delivered the first state-wide climate resiliency strategy while developing a first-in-class municipal technical assistance program across clean energy and climate resiliency. Led a monumental process to convert from manual financials to an integrated and hyper-efficient technology platform.Member of the Governor’s Executive Climate Change Coordinating Council, responsible for execution of the State’s Act on Climate, the State’s Green Buildings Advisory Board and Broadband Advisory Board.
