I combine over 25 years of experience in fundraising, impact investment consulting, and entrepreneurship to counsel nonprofits and social enterprises as the Founder and CEO of JSC Impact. Blending my philanthropic background and my private investment experience with my commitment to growing the social good, I lead our team to drive progress where government and market forces are not enough.I leverage my experience maintaining relationships across stakeholders and my success in raising over $150 million in the nonprofit sector to attract seed and growth capital from mission-driven impact investors to support the growth of nonprofits and social enterprises. My ability to steer the strategic direction of many environmental and social impact organizations also led to my success in the private sector, where I helped in raising seed capital and in launching Sobel Bixel Consulting, Oxygen Benefits Consulting, and Proteus Ocean Group.With decades of experience in capital investments, business development, and nonprofit operations, I have also helped to create and guide many organizations whose mission and vision are to do well and do good. I sit on the boards of organizations making innovative strides in the social, environmental, and human services sectors including CRDC Holdings and Proteus Ocean Group, I’m an advisory board member of Salus, and a former board member of the Summit Area YMCA and the New Jersey Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP-NJ).
