He also works closely with internal teams on matters such as new business development, transactional advisory including due diligence, and risk assessment.Prior to joining RSM, Jeff spent 40 years as a highly regarded industry analyst at leading Wall Street brokerage firms. He covered department and discount stores, apparel and specialty stores, and apparel and footwear manufacturers. Most recently, he followed these sectors for UBS, with a concentration on global sourcing and best practices of retailers and vendors in Europe and Asia. Jeff traveled extensively in these regions to get first-hand insights into retailer and manufacturer strategies. Earlier in his career, Jeff held similar positions at Paine Webber, Drexel Burnham Lambert and Dean Witter Reynolds. Jeff was among the top-ranked retail-sector analysts 25 times on Institutional Investor Magazine’s All Star list, compiled from feedback from analysts’ clients. Greenwich Research Associates also gave top rankings to Jeff in its surveys.
