Jeff Eilers is a sales and insurance expert with a national presence in the Group Insurance industry. He currently holds a dual role as a Regional Vice President and Director of the Sales Trainee Program at Mutual of Omaha. Jeff’s expertise, strategic thinking and creativity have enabled him to develop top sales training programs twice throughout his career while continuing to sell, manage and lead his sales teams. As a Regional Vice President, he is responsible for leading the West region’s sales team focused on selling premium and achieving sales goals. He has led this region for almost a decade and has seen his region go from worst to first since taking this leadership role. A graduate of Florida State, Jeff started his career with Met Life as a Large Case Medical Representative. He joined Guarantee Mutual as the South Florida Regional Manager, as Guarantee grew from Guarantee Life to Jefferson Pilot and finally to Lincoln Financial Group he enjoyed his success as a sales person and as a mentor/leader. Early in his career, Jeff realized his passion and gift of coaching and developing sales reps as a result, he created a sales training program, producing some of the industry’s top sales reps, leaders and business owners. In 2009 following a passion for surfing and an opportunity to grow, he made the move from Florida to Southern California to lead the Group Insurance department’s Western region at Mutual of Omaha. With the new leadership role came the opportunity to duplicate the success he had with creating a sales training program at Lincoln. The success of the program quickly became known throughout the Mutual of Omaha enterprise as sales surpassed 1 billion and profits rose making the group department the #1 enterprise at Mutual of Omaha. More than 60% of the sales team is now comprised of the homegrown Reps and Jeff continues to redefine what is possible in the sales world as he pushes the group department to new heights.
