About Jeffrey Ellis

I am a technical manager with a broad background in software, systems, aerospace, and human factors engineering. I have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary organizations to develop simulations and interactive hardware/software systems for scientific and engineering applications. I spent the first 20 years of my career in defense and intelligence, primarily developing software systems for the processing and analysis of remote sensor data. For the past 15+ years I've worked in human spaceflight, managing teams to develop simulators and software for engineering analysis, mission planning, and training of astronauts and flight controllers. For the past 9 years I've been at Boeing, where I currently manage the Training System and Mission System Applications teams, and also assist in managing the Crew Operations/Human Factors Engineering team, for the Boeing CST-100 Starliner spacecraft.
