• Designed and implemented a back end solution that will exchange tokens. This service will be used by mobile devices in order to enable single sign-on across different apps on the same mobile device.

• Designed, developed and maintained a highly available and scalable tax calculation engine for Amazon worldwide.• Designed and developed the first global tax platform. Previously, the tax software was fragmented with different software running in each region causing maintainability issues.• Designed and implemented a service to generate unique vat invoice numbers. The vat invoice numbers had to be unique for each shipment that went out of a European fulfillment center and at the same time has to conceal Amazon's total European shipment volume.• Lead developer for the tax refund calculator service. This was one of the first components to launch for the new Tax software platform. The tax refund calculation was broken for 15 years and as a result, taxes were incorrectly calculated on a customer return/refund. The incorrect taxes were also hurting our bottom line because taxes were not recorded correctly and as a result, the refund taxes were not remitted to the government for a refund.
