I love what I do.And no, I don't mean the Project Management part, or Scrum team part, or the operational excellence part - those are things that GET done. The part that I actually do has more to do with people.In a world filled with processes and tools, I find that the biggest difference I can make is to put people first. I firmly believe that if you start with people—having the right mindset, the right motives, and the right amount of TRUST—making the right decisions on process and tool is easy.I work with a foundational belief that vulnerability and trust are at the core of any successful team, and I apply my experience in everything I do at Softway—from leading transformative sessions on leadership behaviors and culture, to guiding newly-formed Scrum teams. High-performing teams start with trust, and ultimately have an element of—I’m going to say it—love. When it starts with leaders, it flows through the organization.I channel my passion through hosting a podcast called “Love as a Business Strategy” (www.softway.com/laabs). I have the opportunity to speak with experts and special guests around their own journey's and experiences. We discuss topics like empathetic leadership, diversity and inclusion, and so much more.
