I direct the architecture and product development for a high availability Java service delivering complex ad buying decisions at real time auctions in under 1/10th of a second. This happens on the order of billions of times a day. Additionally, I'm responsible for producing key performance measurement and reporting tools to showcase areas for improvement and develop plans to address these.My team leads manage their workflows using a hybrid approach, applying both agile and waterfall best practices, to produce consistent deliverables with a low defect rate.
