I started this small-non-profit community media center in Belmont, MA under the guidance of a founding board of directors. After starting out in a classroom at Belmont High, later I helped design the studio, managed the construction and engineering and developed operational plan, hired all staff.We operate the public, educational, and government access TV channels in this small "town of homes" nestled west of Boston and next door to Cambridge.Today, we serve the electronic communications needs of the Town, the School Dept, and the residents of Belmont.When the Covid19 pandemic hit, I led the way on behalf of BMC to deploy remote meeting & production platforms across the town, and have trained many individuals and organizations.

Strategic planning, and day-to-day management of eleven person staff & all physical/technical operations.Developed business partnerships, workforce training programs, and helped to create, and then manage the CyberCafe@Malden Square to "bridge the digital divide" to seniors, the working poor, youth, immigrants and under-served.

I was a member of the editorial board and as the Chair for this quarterly journal dedicated to community media worldwide. While in Paris, I reported on international community media activities and people. I served as editor-in-chief for several international issues.

I worked as a freelance video editor/videographer for RTL-Tele Luxembourg for the nightly TV news program: "De Journal" - located in Luxembourg City.I also worked in Master Control for the Polish language TV station, RTL7 - also located in Luxembourg, and broadcasting into Warsaw.

During the 1990's, I worked on staff and as a freelancer for this once small (now much larger and very successful) video/new media production and editing company in Boulder, Colorado.Working on a variety of projects including: instructional videos, historical documentaries, corporate image videos, local and national commercials in a variety of roles but most often as a video editor, director, writer, videographer.

Worked as a PA, editing intern, video assist, driver, studio manager on several pictures produced at then Roger Corman's Main St film studio in Venice, CA, including: "Lords of the Deep, "Corporate Affairs", "Bloodfist II", etc. While there, I worked with cinematographer Jürgen Kaminski at the beginning of his American career.
