Sessions last one hour and were for either planning a presentation or rehearsing a presentation. This position gave me a chance to practice public speaking skills by teaching others and allowed me to learn a lot about a variety of presentation topics.

These presentations were run individually and lasted around 50 minutes. Topics included time management, productivity techniques, and surviving finals.

I was given a large amount of responsibility in quality assurance of the software. My internship consisted mostly of resolving customer support tickets. These tickets ranged from finding and fixing bugs to helping users understand correct operation of the software. I learned how to efficiently track down bugs as well as manipulate data on a MySQL server. Working with a smaller company, I was able to work closely with not only the developers but also with sales and support. Overall this was a great learning opportunity and helped me to understand everything that goes into a software company.
