Primary Function:• Documented the new Data Virtualization process. • Developed a close working relationship between the various Business and Information Technology groups in reviewing and critiquing submitted Business Requirement Documents and the Subscriber Data Requirements. for a smooth transition. • Served as one of the liaisons between Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Group and Information Technology department. • Oversaw the reporting specifications, along with the data/technical requirements for program developers to meet the needs of the SCRM Group. Deliverable(s):• A playbook, which is also being used as a template for other process flow documentation projects assigned to the Information and Data Strategy Group.Challenge(s):• Learning the basis of the Data Virtualization process in a short amount of time• Gaining the knowledge and respect of all people and business groups that would be associated with the project.• Being a contract position, the work had to be on time due to not knowing when funding could possibly end.Result(s):• A comprehensive 40+ page document that guides the business user through various steps and checklists to be successful using Data Virtualization. • This was completed within the six months time limitation with approval and publishing by the Project Manager.

Primary Function:• Converted seven Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing sites (four in U.S. and three in Asia) from legacy Enterprise Resource Planning Systems to Oracle 11.5.10 to handle purchasing, receiving, inventory, and item creation. • Completed on time with no serious issues for each implementation.• Trained the company’s Oracle users in the U.S. and Asia PCB facilities in purchasing, receiving, inventory, and item creation.• Authored Training Documentation, Work Instructions, and Process Instructions based upon process mapping.• Provided business and supply chain solutions using Oracle 11.5.10 application, performing Gap Analysis and creating specifications of business needs all the while serving as the single point of contact or liaison between business unit and information technology department.Deliverable(s):• To get each of the plants onto the corporate standard of Oracle in the quickest, yet most effective timeframe. • Ensuring that all plant personnel was thoroughly trained prior to the “Go-Live” date.• Converting all assigned data completely and accurately.• Meeting the schedule, which vary based upon size and location, for each implementation which took between six to nine months.Challenge(s):• Training all personnel in each plant's purchasing, receiving and inventory departments so they were comfortable and up to speed in Oracle prior to going live.• Converting all necessary data from the legacy system to Oracle.Result(s):• On time and successful implementation. • Less than three months post live support in the for assigned areas as compared to six months for all other areas.• The majority of the support was not about the implementation but rather getting additional functionality that was out of scope for the implementation.
