Manage a budget of over $8M.Define release schedules for the portfolio of products and internal systems, account for existing technical debt, eliminate development bottlenecks to drive delivery, optimize cost structure and achieve quality goals.Execute on various release schedules with the right functionality and quality by owning and driving the architecture, design, and delivery of the organizations current and new offerings.Own the plan and strategy to integrate end-to-end systems, enterprise data and metadata structures, while managing a mixed legacy and new platform environment.Contribute to the definition of the product strategy by collaborating with other departments.Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing staff, utilizing the company’s proven selection methodology, company guidelines, performance management process, and support resources.Supervision of 60 employees and consultants (onshore/offshore).Allocate work and make decisions regarding employment, performance appraisals, training and development, salary recommendations, and promotions.Build a great development organization and system based on agile development practices with a culture of innovation, customer intimacy, execution and quality.Establish systematic personnel development and provides for capable succession within the development function.Ensure execution and quality is high and trending forward by establishing a baseline and producing metrics for the development function.Create a culture of professionalism, product excellence and process innovation.Prioritize changing demands, multi-task, and creatively meets tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
