Used bioacoustics recorders/software to analyze the echolocation calls of endangered and threatened bat populations (e.g., northern long-eared bat, tri-colored bat, and little brown bat) at local Pennsylvania State Game Lands. Plus, through collaboration with the Pennsylvania Game Commission monitored Allegheny wood rats (Neotoma magister) populations and evaluated the effectiveness of anthelmintic baits at combating the infectious raccoon roundworm.Developed a Habitat Management Plan for a Juniata-owned property in Bedford County by creating a small-mammal inventory, assessing grassland bird species preferences, and creating a rotational mowing schedule to maximize small-mammal, bird, and pollinator species.
