Jeffrey J. Webb is a Partner in the Financial Services practice of Deloitte Tax, LLP. He has a significant amount of experience assisting insurance companies and banks with tax planning strategies; data, technology and operational platform efficiencies; transaction services; and financial reporting for income taxes.He assists companies with establishing, gaining efficiencies, and integrating closely held insurance platforms. Jeff supports companies with their tax transformation programs. Projects include tax source data sensitization and mining, automation opportunities, human capital deployment, technology implementations, and tax account balance validations. He actively assists companies with their transaction based advisory: structuring, carve out / purchase accounting and modeling; taxpayer consolidation issues, domestic / international tax profile modeling and controversy issues. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York and Illinois, and is a member of the AICPA, NYSSCPA, and Illinois CPA Society.His volunteer activities include: WGA/ESF, Director.Chicago Symphony Orchestra: Governing Member, and Corporate Committee.
