I am an intellectual property attorney with substantial experience in all aspects of intellectual property law including patent prosecution and litigation, trademark litigation and due diligence, copyright litigation, licensing and related intellectual property transactional matters, and counseling regarding patent, trademark and copyright protection and procurement. My areas of technical expertise include chemistry and biotechnology, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, biomaterials, and biomechanics. I was a biomedical engineering research fellow during my undergraduate career at Johns Hopkins' world renowned University Hospital and Medical Center. For over 25 years, I have advised a wide range of high-tech and soft goods clients on patent, trademark, and copyright matters in the United States and abroad. I am licensed before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and have appeared on behalf of my clients in numerous federal and state court proceedings. I am also a regular contributor to a variety of trade and industry publications. I am currently the firm’s managing partner.
