Serve as an escalation point to the various Data Services teams, including: Maintenance, Implementation, and Engineering. Required to work directly with multiple vendors to both troubleshoot their equipment and discuss how their products can better serve our network. On top of this we must work directly with these vendors to find and reconcile root causes of large impacting issues. Understand and take the lead on any outages, or other challenging network issues to identify and resolve the issue. Work directly with the other engineers in the DSO T3 group to identify flaws and organizational inefficiencies with both processes and network design/operation, collaborating to build scripts or other best practices to ensure these get addressed.Vendor Equipment• Cisco routers and switches.
