Current1. Continuously troubleshooting and improving an electronic quality system (QM Wizard) that I implemented in 2017. This requires extensive programming, regular communication with our vendor, and ongoing training with shop technicians.2. Maintaining shop equipment calibration database and scheduling on-site equipment calibration.3. Updating and circulating customer specifications, hot sheets, and preferences. This is an important step in assuring each customer receives quality service. I am involved in ongoing discussions with our sales representatives and customer contacts to maintain these documents.4. Analyzing incoming test data and generating detailed preliminary inspection reports. These preliminary inspection reports identify the root-cause failure of the motor (if one is present), and provide supporting evidence such as electrical test results, images, and precision measurements.5. Performing quality checks on quotes and repaired motors, ensuring that all proposed and completed work meets or exceeds our customers' specifications. It is critical that all job items either address a pre-existing issue, or inhibit future problems. This requires effective communication between myself, our quoting agent, and our scheduler.6. Generating comprehensive final repair reports that elaborate on all incoming conditions of a motor and the corrective actions taken to rectify these conditions. Each repair report contains a vibration analysis that is based on the concepts I became proficient in during my Vibration Analyst – Category II certification.
