Mercy Inc is committed to its mission to provide financial assistance to military service personnel, veterans and their families. Mercy Inc was launched in 2017 through a need to help the service men and women in Massillon, Ohio. In this, our first year, we are focused on raising the operating costs that we need to move forward and provide the support and assistance that these families need. No non-profit organization can begin and exist without these initial funds. Mercy Inc, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is focused on it’s goal to provide assistance to the many military service personnel, veterans and their families in Massillon, Ohio facing hardships.OUR GOAL: Our goal is to help restore financial stability and self-sufficiency to military service personnel, veterans and military families by giving them “a hand up.” We strive to reach families at the earliest stage of intervention to prevent further financial distress and suffering, especially for the combat injured and their families.OPERATIONAL PHYLOSOPHY: Mercy Inc takes a “holistic” approach to helping our active military service members, veterans and their families. Our service is free and applications for assistance are accepted 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Immediacy is key; once an application for aid is processed and eligibility is determined, we strive to provide financial assistance within 48 hours.All requests are verified through a thorough documentation process. Financial assistance is not given directly to service members or their families; instead, payments are made to mortgage lenders, utility companies, and other vendors. Each family is ensured that any assistance provided is timely and effective.

* I managed Searchspace, our BSA Anti-Money Laundering System, I am responsible for monitoring the application, ensuring that security is maintained, issues are resolved quickly. Develop applications using SAS, query data for validation against existing reports, and verify that system tuning data is maintained.* Automated tasks to be streamed from a job scheduler running many of the day to day processes that use up critical system time after hours.* Developed an application that monitors the AML System that verifies existing data for unauthorized access and changes.* Developed utility applications to manage and update data not maintained or managed during normal processing.* Daily monitor data integrity and redundancy.* Coordinated with support teams regarding system issues and implementing system testing and changes.* Designed Business Logic Rules for the AML Monitoring system.* Designed an application that monitors and reports on daily Paycard data.* Assisted others in the department with technical questions regarding the system as well as programming and hardware problems.* Developed and maintain communication and a level of confidence with outside departments and other areas of business.* Provided support and troubleshooting for the Fraud Unit

Engineered resources to substantially decrease the number of issues causing downtime.* Engineered reporting system for tracking, generating and reporting 1099-Miscellaneous forms for the IRS. Established electronic transfer of records directly to IRS systems. Drastically reduced overhead for monthly tracking, yearly reporting and filing of forms.* Engineered daily funding check printing system. Developed high level security system built into the application to prevent fraud. * Reengineering of legacy automated paint mixing system for BASF Chemical Industry. Upgraded existing application from FoxPro for DOS to Visual FoxPro 6* Engineered election campaign tracking system to track and disburse campaign donations and fund raisers for state and federal politicians.* Engineered a POS system for national cell phone company, converting existing system from Peachtree Accounting System and files to Visual FoxPro 5 Application for tracking orders, sales, customer accounts, in store sales, daily, weekly and monthly store volumes. AccomplishmentsLead on POS and Campaign Tracking systems assisted by other developers built development teams.

* Engineered a Builder/Developer Database System for working with area home builders and developers. System tracked lots being developed. All survey, county and construction data as well as plat maps, photos and closing information could be tracked and instantly accessible in-house as well as by the builder via dial-up access. Nightly automated file transfers and uploading data into the system was performed by the clients.* Engineered end of month closing system to track and report processor work flow, generated revenue and direct transfer to the accounting system.

* Engineered a Book Tracking system for area publisher to follow progress of book orders from data entry to shipment. Orders were placed via phone and mail. Mail orders were scanned into system using OCR technology. Bar codes were generated and assigned to individual books based on customer account number. * Engineered end of month closing system to track and report monthly sales.* Support and maintenance of existing legacy systems.AccomplishmentsSubstantially reduced man hours and costs to produce and track order entry, customer service and shipping by engineering book tracking system, providing expertise in developing new and updated systems for reporting and processing.
