Jeffrey is currently CEO of mPOD. A hands-on engineer from an early age, he holds B.S. and M.Eng degrees in Bioengineering from Cornell University. An entrepreneur at heart, he synergizes his passion for engineering and science with entrepreneurship focusing on initiatives that have positive impact on the world we live in. With extensive experience leading business and technical teams, Jeffrey has been a part of several start ups. He started leading several project teams while at Cornell and also has professional experience working on biotech research with the Army Research Laboratory as well as R&D developer at Cornell Weill. He has a uniquely diverse skillset that ranges from IT support to building to programming drones to running sound and audio tech for red carpet events. His biggest strengths are infectious enthusiasm and unrelenting passion for his work. He sees the big picture and strives to help a team work together most effectively to achieve project goals. Human centric design is Jeffrey's current focus; he combines his bioengineering know-how with design thinking methodologies to develop tools that allow humans and technology to interface more effectively. When not working, he enjoys Latin dancing and is also an aspiring actor. His future plans are to pursue his passion in research, medicine and entrepreneurship following avenues in industry and in graduate programs.
