About Jeffrey Miller
I love to write. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to write and be a writer.One of my first memories of writing was when I was eight or nine and watched this horror movie on a weekly horror TV program. I was so impressed (or maybe scared) that the next day I wrote my own "horror story."My first publishing credit, believe it or not, was a fan letter to Archie magazine in 1969. I won first prize and received my first royalty, a fat 5.00 check from the Chase Manhattan Bank!Although I studied English literature for my BA and MA, it was not until 2000, when I started writing for the Korea Times, that my dream as a writer finally came true. For several years, I wrote various feature articles, which later became the basis for my first novel, War Remains, in 2010.Originally from LaSalle, Illinois, I relocated to South Korea in 1990 where, for the past three decades, I have nurtured a love for spicy Korean food, Buddhist temples, and East Asian History.Currently, an Assistant Professor at the SolBridge International School of Business, my latest novel, No Way Out, a thriller set in Seoul, will be published in the fall of 2022 by Winding Road Stories, a New York-based indie press.
