Provide Governance and Oversight of the Wellbore Positioning Program with regards to compliance with ConocoPhillips Enterprise standards.Add new wellbore positioning data to the ‘Gold’ database of Wellbore Positioning Data for the Eagle Ford, South Texas from new drills or 3rd party data sources (OBO wells) performing QA/QC on same.Manage the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) workflow that automatically adds data to the database and runs a collision scan while drilling.Establish the ‘Gold’ database of Wellbore Positioning Data for the Bakken, Williston Basin.Migrate legacy positioning data from legacy databases and hardcopy files to the ‘Gold’ database performing QA/QC on same.Add new wellbore positioning data to the ‘Gold’ database from new drills or 3rd party data sources (OBO wells) performing QA/QC on same.Focal point for directional survey quality issues.Perform QA/QC on wellplans and advise on wellbore positioning / collision management issues.Design directional wellplans as required.

I had the privilege to work closely with our Deepwater Gulf of Mexico customers to provide technical support, advice and expertise in Directional Survey Management and Wellbore Positioning. I was the focal point providing IFR support and survey corrections.I monitored and reported on the directional survey data quality for all our jobs in the GOM and as such contributed to raising the quality of directional surveying in the GOM through auditing and coaching.Auditors may not have many friends, but in support of our operations run out of Houston, Trinidad, Midland, Oklahoma and Calgary, I audited on-site the workflow operations for Wellplanning, Wellbore Positioning and Collision Management.With auditing comes training and coaching, as such I conducted training and coaching on Collision Avoidance Management procedure and practice both internally and externally (customer-facing) as well as training in Wellplanning and the use of the Wellplanning software.It was at this time that I collaborated with my colleagues to co author: SPE paper (SPE 124246) "Optimizing Directional Drilling While Minimizing the Risk of Well Collision in Offshore Drilling" October 2009, SPE – ATCE.
