My new book coming out soon called "How to Find a Recruiter You can Trust" will provide insights every Partner needs to know before establishing a long-term relationship with a recruiting advisor.A little bit about me on a personal side...more than twenty years ago I ran my first marathon in Dublin, Ireland, to raise money for The Leukemia Society of America and got hooked on running marathons. I’ve run more than a dozen since and during that time came to learn about the 7 continents club – you become a member when you have run marathons on all 7 continents. I decided that that was an interesting and worthwhile goal and set out to achieve it. A few years back I set out to run Antarctica (the banner picture here in my profile is of me when I was in Antarctica, wearing the Gordon's fisherman's outfit of course). We flew to Ushuaia, Argentina in order to board a converted Russian research vessel, the Akademic Ioffe, which would take us across the Drake Passage, to St. George’s Island in Antarctica – we were successful. The trip was just incredible, the landscape breathtaking and the fellow travelers/runners, which included people from all of the six inhabited continents, including the first woman from Great Britain to reach the 7 continents goal upon completion of this marathon, were remarkable.I still have three continents to go…This is a fun fact, but it also demonstrates that I’m competitive and persistent.
