As a strategic leader, I spearheaded risk management reviews for GSA acquisition programs, ensuring the integrity of public contracts exceeding $60 billion annually. I have demonstrated leadership in coordinating teams of senior contract specialists to audit high-profile Department of Defense acquisitions valued individually at more than $1 billion. My efforts have been instrumental in resolving litigation and facilitating contract award processes, directly supporting DoD’s mission to equip warfighters with vital services. My proficiency lies in evaluating complex acquisition programs to identify and mitigate systemic risks. I have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments and am effective in developing solutions that resolve legal disputes and streamline contract awards. I am skilled in collaborating with diverse groups, including federal departments, to achieve consensus and drive project success.

As a Legal and Policy Advisor, I provided expert advice on a broad range of legal and policy issues, including contract terminations, labor laws, cybersecurity, and trade agreements. I have led sustainability initiatives across 24 CFO Act agencies, enhancing federal environmental and energy performance. I also managed content for the GSA Acquisition Gateway, overseeing $40 billion in federal spending. I initiated the Acquisition Ambassadors Alliance to foster innovation in government procurement and contributed to drafting policies on sustainable acquisition and responsible antibiotic use. I developed key talking points for the President’s G7 Summit address on sustainable supply chains and chaired the Procurement Working Group for the US National Action Plan on Responsible Business Conduct. My performance in this role demonstrated proficiency in government acquisitions, strategic leadership in managing sustainability initiatives, experience in managing specialized content for federal acquisition platforms, skill in encouraging innovative procurement practices, and effectiveness in promoting responsible business conduct globally.

As the Chair of the White House CEQ Sustainable Acquisition & Materials Management (SAMM) Workgroup, I led a bi-monthly gathering of officials and subject matter experts from cabinet-level and independent federal agencies. Our task was to advance sustainable acquisition and materials management by the Federal government.

I served as a legal counsel and special assistant to an advisor to President Barack Obama, focusing on issues related to Federal sustainability. I drafted, negotiated, and reviewed various transactional legal documents, including vendor contracts and agreements with partner entities. I also drafted legal memorandums, white papers, issue briefings, and other correspondence on a range of issues from Constitutionality to Federal sustainability. In addition, I represented the office and acted as a facilitator and advocate in meetings with private parties.
