I am leading a organization at everyone's favorite technology store where I am responsible for data governance and visualization. We created a cloud-based data vision and strategy known as the “Data Store”, with an emphasis on high quality data that leads to excellent storytelling. We also created strong product teams in a COE for all data visualization, wrote a style guide and playbook to establish our standards, and measured our success through OKRs. This approach reduced technical debt and drove cloud adoption through company-wide engagement, while leveraging data to tell Best Buy's story.

As a highly rated adjunct, I teach graduate level data science classes, including predictive analytics (machine learning models including time series) and capstone. I also teach fundamental R programming skills through a 3 week bridge. I represented CUNY by teaching corporate seminars at companies like NBC Universal, and serve as part of the admissions team.

Imagine a company where nearly 1% of the world comes to eat every single day. I led a data-driven organization responsible to enable every McDonald's employee around the world to leverage our investment in data and tell their story through insights and analytics. In order to better serve our customers, I built a Market Activation Team to rapidly connect customer-focused data products with 115 markets across the globe and developed a widely attended market-centric enterprise-wide data literacy and adoption strategy focusing on tool and data training, including interactive 3-day Analytics Boot Camps.

As product owner, I developed systematic data governance and support process for all visualization at Ford, incorporating reviews and training to improve design and performance, resulting in a drop in errors by 30% while doubling the content running in a year. I also led organizational strategy and technology to build digital “Command Center”, a systematic way to monitor data quality and support 10K+ data pipelines/ products, using innovative visualization and systematizing of real time and near real time customer data. I built a global on-call response strategy for data quality including automated alerts and issue tools. I also established the team and support system to successfully run 500K+ Alteryx workflows and 250K+ viewing sessions for an ecosystem of 4K+ dashboards used by 50K+ employees across Ford monthly, managing governance/deployment for 100+ code implementations daily.

I led the creation of new digital products combining renewal opportunity with quotes and bookings, building a process and internal consulting team to monitor and drive data adoption in the $10B+ service renewal business. I also led business operations for a global change Management and product team.

Resolvit brought me to Cisco to build a data and analytics service for an initiative with $100M+ budget, building an agency consulting team to obtain/ wrangle the data, improve data quality and drive UI/UX design to visualize results in dashboards and other formats for ease of access and utilization.

I was promoted to a director role responsible for 5 states, where I directly supervised 27 teams with ~300 full time employees. I spoke at national and regional events, and helped oversee fundraising and regional budget reaching $10M. Nationally I was responsible for leadership development.

I led an aggressive metrics-driven team of 10-15 full-time employees and built a large volunteer network of 700, expanding the organization from 2 to 7 locations.
