This 2-phase project has drastically improved their ability to quickly align foreign student with jobs and internships in the US, and coordinate their visa applications. The n-tier architecture allowed us to deliver multiple applications, using the same core business and data layer dll’s rapidly. This included both ASP and .NET web applications. As Lead Engineer/Architect, I designed the application tiers, business objects, and XML integration. I developed the project plans, worked with the client to establish requirements, and developed testing and rollout plans.Four applications use a common core set of business layer and data layer dlls.N-tier .NET application (XSLT and web forms) built on top of VB dll infrastructure.Partner data exchange supported by XML ‘Synchronizer’ application integrated with MS Biztalk server

It supports connected stores (DSL, satellite) and disconnected stores (initiates dial-up).Worked with team to develop enterprise management tool based on the Apache Struts framework.Defined set of core global interfaces and processes across Enterprise, Inventory, and POS applications.Evaluated existing 3rd party products for possible partnership and integration.Developed ‘ESummary’ enterprise reporting solution.Developed Menu Item and Pricing change distribution modules. -

The in-store server and kiosks pulled their content from the main server hosted at ESI. To minimize the effect of satellite lag, store servers, running Tomcat, cached the necessary data and resources to create web content for the pump browsers.Worked with team to deliver and support interactive Pump and Kiosk applications.Integrated loyalty programs, contests, ordering, and 3rd party content providers.Responsible for the selection and deployment of automated toolset to maintain all station servers.Worked with a large team to developed the ‘Insight System’ ASP product for InsightShare Inc. The product combined a set of applet-based collaboration tools, Autonomy’s Search engine, and Microsoft’s server products: Active Directory, SQL Server2000, and Exchange 2000. Worked with ‘Systems Integration’ team to develop solution that integrated an applet-based suite of collaboration tools with MS Exchange, SQL Server, and Active Directory. Solution was release pre-SOAP, but work was based on the in-progress specification.Non-Applet components used client-side XML processor to generate html, and post XML data to server.

I enrolled Epsilon in Lotus’ business partner program, getting the company better pricing and access to resources and information. Besides my development responsibilities, I was responsible for conducting annual reviews of my staff, and contributing to the annual budgeting and strategy efforts. Key projects included the corporate website, and developing a timesheet system that integrated with the financial systems and allowed the company to retire a paper based system. -
