Managed team of developers in multiple states to support three of Chartone's Enterprise applications. The applications covered multiple technologies, implementation models, and technologies.- Led the effort to integrate the multiple systems, and migrate to a single platform and set of technologies.

Responsilble for supporting and reverse engineering ChartOne's eWebCoding SaaS product and Response Release-of-Informaiton products. The platform was comprised of two locally installled applications that exchanged data with the centrally managed website to enable the capture on medical records, and securely deliver the information to specialists to support billing functions.- Reverse engineered codebase and build processes from acquired company, and assisted with knowledge capture and transfer.- Continued to support and enhance the installed and hosted applications.

Council on Internaltional Education Exchange relies on its Atlas2 system to connect it with partners, travel agents, and students around the world. This 2-phase project has drastically improved their ability to quickly align foreign student with jobs and internships in the US, and coordinate their visa applications. The n-tier architecture allowed us to deliver multiple applications, using the same core business and data layer dll’s rapidly. This included both ASP and .NET web applications. As Lead Engineer/Architect, I designed the application tiers, business objects, and XML integration. I developed the project plans, worked with the client to establish requirements, and developed testing and rollout plans.Four applications use a common core set of business layer and data layer dlls.N-tier .NET application (XSLT and web forms) built on top of VB dll infrastructure.Partner data exchange supported by XML ‘Synchronizer’ application integrated with MS Biztalk server

Worked with team to develop EXIT41’s Enterprise management product, Multi-Unit Management. This is an ASP offering hosted by EXIT41 that allows owners of multiple franchises to centrally manage their menus, pricing, and get reports. It is currently used by owners of both McDonalds’s and Wendy’s restaurants. It supports connected stores (DSL, satellite) and disconnected stores (initiates dial-up).Worked with team to develop enterprise management tool based on the Apache Struts framework.Defined set of core global interfaces and processes across Enterprise, Inventory, and POS applications.Evaluated existing 3rd party products for possible partnership and integration.Developed ‘ESummary’ enterprise reporting solution.Developed Menu Item and Pricing change distribution modules.

Worked with team to develop a system for BP to manage its browser equipped pumps and kiosks at their new ‘BP Connect’ stores. The in-store server and kiosks pulled their content from the main server hosted at ESI. To minimize the effect of satellite lag, store servers, running Tomcat, cached the necessary data and resources to create web content for the pump browsers.Worked with team to deliver and support interactive Pump and Kiosk applications.Integrated loyalty programs, contests, ordering, and 3rd party content providers.Responsible for the selection and deployment of automated toolset to maintain all station servers.Worked with a large team to developed the ‘Insight System’ ASP product for InsightShare Inc. The product combined a set of applet-based collaboration tools, Autonomy’s Search engine, and Microsoft’s server products: Active Directory, SQL Server2000, and Exchange 2000.  Worked with ‘Systems Integration’ team to develop solution that integrated an applet-based suite of collaboration tools with MS Exchange, SQL Server, and Active Directory. Solution was release pre-SOAP, but work was based on the in-progress specification.Non-Applet components used client-side XML processor to generate html, and post XML data to server.

Led a team of three engineers (including myself) that focused on corporate groupware and web applications. I enrolled Epsilon in Lotus’ business partner program, getting the company better pricing and access to resources and information. Besides my development responsibilities, I was responsible for conducting annual reviews of my staff, and contributing to the annual budgeting and strategy efforts. Key projects included the corporate website, and developing a timesheet system that integrated with the financial systems and allowed the company to retire a paper based system.

Worked with a team of specialists to improve operations across the Database Service division. Developed suite of groupware tools used by client account teams that were repliated with clients.

Developed data processing applications to support direct marketing capaigns. Also developed series of Lotus Notes collaboration applications that were replicated with clients. This eventually became the major focus of my role. Developed set of custom groupware tools be shared with the client Developed data processing applications in C. Applications were prototyped on OS/2 workstations, before running on mainframe
