Project: Dubai Marina ResidenceScope: Construction of 4B + G + 39 Residential building in Dubai Marina Disrtict.• Assures that the project is in accordance with the quality system, with the contract requirements and Dubai Municipality regulations.• Manage the civil and architectural quality control program of the project.• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and owner’s representatives for any quality related issues.• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.• Participate in the site internal and external site audits.• Review technical documents and submittals, including construction plans.• Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.• Coordinate with the site construction manager on all quality issues Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status.

Project: Dubai TramwayScope:Construction of 14.5km tramway that use "Alimentation par le Sol" (APS) ground-level power supply instead of overhead cables.• Asures that the project is in accordance with the quality system, ISO 9001 and with the contract requirement.• Assist Senior QC Engineer in performing Civil Works hand-over inspection reports, APS equipment inspection before track slab concreting and preparation of QC forms/checklist for submittal.• Coordinate with site supervisors/engineers for the next schedule of site inspections per area of responsibility for the preparation of official inspection request to the Senior QC Engineer prior to submittal to the Consultant.• Perform pre-inspection check on installed APS components prior to the official QC inspection with the Consultant.• Prepare and filled-up all necessary QC forms/checklist before inspection works with the Consultant per corresponding activity. Ensure that ITR has been signed-off by the Consultant after every inspection that has been carried-out.• Coordinate with the Consultant Site Inspector and Site Supervisors/Engineers during APS equipment inspection before trackslab concreting, pre-concrete or post concrete inspections of APS beam. Comments shall be solved immediately and amicably at site if ever possible.• Follow-up and coordinate with Site Supervisors/Engineers for the remedial works to be done if ever there are comments on the ITR / NCR’s for inspection with the Consultant for closure of those comments.• Check and monitor concrete slump on arrival of concrete and ensure delivery of sampled concrete cubes from site to Laboratory.• Follow-up and record concrete compressive strength results from Laboratory and submit to Senior QC Engineer for updating the over-all record.• Coordinate with Site Supervisor/Engineer on the remedial works to be done at site for the closure of Non-conformities and comments.

Project: Al Nagfa Mall - Al Ain, Abu DhabiScope: Construction of Multi-storey commercial establishment with 2 basement parkings, scope also includes infrastucture with hardscape and landscaping works.Project: United Arab Emirates University - Al Ain, Abu Dhabi Scope: Construction of Multi-storey buildings, work includes, bored piling, prestressing works, structural steel works, etc. Responsibilities:• Implementing/Coordinating the site program and activities related to quality control work.• Notify the QA/QC Manager of non-conformities/observations found at site inspections with action, if any, to be taken advise/monitor the corrective actions of non-conformities reported by staff either in meetings or records.• Administer site quality control’s policies and procedures within the framework of the IMS system Quality Control Plan.• Review and propose training program for improvement to the quality standard on site.• Maintain an updated knowledge of all quality-related codes and standards required in the contract document.• Research and implements standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.• Implements/conducts/monitor sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.• Prepare Method Statements and Material submissions before transmitting to the client.• Performs Site Inspections of Structural and Architectural Works with the consultants.

Project: Monorail Transit System inside Palm Jumeirah, DubaiScope: Construction of 5.45 Km Monorail line with 4 Station Buildings, work includes bored piling, pre-cast/in-situ prestressed beams, on-shore/off-shore long span bridges, etc.Responsibilities:• Implements the company Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS). • Prepare/Review Method Statements and Material submissions before transmitting to the client.• Maintain an updated knowledge of all quality-related codes and standards required in the contract document.• Act as a lead auditor/assistant auditor for the external and internal on-site and off-site audits.• Performs site inspections of structural and architectural works with the consultants.• Perform Factory Visits and Off-Site Inspections for subcontractors and suppliers works.• Prepare and strictly implementing Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).• Manage the Nonconformity (NCR)/Observation/Defect Notice systems.
