Used internal service layer to reduce estimates and implementation time from 2 years to 9 months for Online Account Origination (OAO) feature.- Led designing and implementation of a HATEOAS-based RESTful API for a third party IVR vendor using and enhancing existing Internal Service Layer completing whole of development in 3 months.- Integrated GE Capital Bank with 5+ external vendors that provided various functionality such as authentication services, background checks, core banking services, and case management while maintaining and/or exceeding industry standards for performance on the front end of the functional website.- Saved $1M by designing OAO JS front end to be reusable between online experience and customer service representative experience. Lead design and implementation of JavaScript analytics framework to track user experience in OAO and rest of functional website.- Designed and implemented a logging framework using Spring AOP and Java Servlet Filters to log performance and payload of all HTTP requests and responses as well as all SOAP requests and responses. Grew my role from software engineer to senior software engineer in 3 years. Became point of contact for engineers and customers with issues related to voice recognition and reporting module sub-systems. Handled database, deployment, and workflow related issues for 10- 15 customer sites working with field engineers and professional services to deliver best customer experience possible.- Integrated a Dragon VR Engine based Voice Recognition framework into the JSP client side Reporting Module component. Implemented the business logic of the Reporting Module through several Java session beans deployed on the Orion Middle Tier. The entire system was deployed on a Sun Solaris machine with a Sybase, then Oracle database.- Designed and implemented a platform and database independent framework for handling database queries that decoupled the business logic of the Java middle tier from the database. Business logic could be migrated from stored procedures to Java classes with seamless integration.- Resolved a high profile customer issue by analyzing what the end user was doing, identifying issues in the customer’s workflow, and proposing a change to the chief radiologist of Atlantic Health Systems, Newark, NJ.- Worked with marketing and end-users to analyze use cases and provide solutions to customer issues.
