Currently working as interaction designer for Illumina in on-instrument software interaction, as well as analytic and analysis website interfaces. Previously I served as a Frontend UI/UX Developer with Business.com Media Inc., a digital media company and B2B web destination, offering performance marketing advertising, and lead generation products. In this role, I improved the company’s digital technology solutions, creating a more modern, usable, and responsive website to reach a larger audience on multiple platforms. It’s a competitive market and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of constantly leveraging technology to gain an edge and drive revenue gains. I feel very fortunate to work as a developer as I have a genuine passion for technology. I’m never happier than when faced with a challenging problem, and I derive great satisfaction from finding workable solutions, and then helping others understand the best way forward. I also thoroughly enjoy either researching or testing out new technologies and simply learning new skills.As both a designer and programmer, I’m able to move smoothly between print, video, and the web.
