Tools are virtualized and are served up as a schematic where then the engine reads the schematic and assembles the widgets accordingly. This allows for Ultra fast development of highly usable systems. Designed and Implemented a Virtualized Data Architecture that allows any MySQL or SQL Server database to be virtualized into a jsonRest interface. All interfaces are controlled through Role based security. Also provides complete audit trails of all activities for SAS 70 compliance.

Tasked with reinventing all technology and architecture for The Boy Scouts of America - National.Developed a complete architecture (on AWS) and redesigned everything from event systems to manage things like the BSA Jamboree and BSA International Jamboree, to registration, achievements, membership, etc. All in all over 50M persons and over 1M organizations had to be migrated from old SQL based technology with ASP based technology, into a modern world that used all the modern tricks. Formed Cygnus Finance (spinout from Cygnus eTransactions Group) which became an independent merchant bank that processed close to $1B in volume for all of the Cygnus Entertainments Clients. I sold the Merchant Bank to AAA-South Florida and Ticketing to a PE group.

Pioneered the world of Electronic Ticketing for the entertainment Industry. Responsibilities included the invention of and development of the technology, operations (data center, fulfillment, etc...), logistics and guest services. Invented and implemented METS (Marketing Events Tracking System) and supported launch of Disney's Animal Kingdom. This entertainment ticketing technology is analogous to building a system of record (CRM) plus re-marketing solution for the entertainment industry and revolutionized the entertainment industry used by Universal Studios, Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Ski Resorts, Las Vegas Show Production Companies and Venues, etc. Example of impact for one entertainment studio: lead to increased online sales from 10m per year to 450m in first year. Accomplishments:- Created Startup Entertainment based Ticketing and Financial company- Provide leadership to grow the Company from $0 to ~$500M annually in sales- Developed Electronic Entertainment Ticket Exchange that empowered Clients to promote and sell their Live Tickets vs the traditional voucher approach- Developed Self Service Ticketing kiosks for Major Entertainment Venues that provided Sales and Delivery of prior purchased products- Built, owned, and operated our own data centers around the world- Raised 2 rounds of capital to bring the company from idea to reality to mainstream- Operated Guest Service organization to handle customers of our clients guest service needs- Operated Ticket Fulfillment center for the express purpose of delivering products that were purchased by customers of our clients.- Created Independent Banking system for the purpose of processing Credit / Debit cards for our clients.Was acquired by PE Group and was the foundation for what is now a 1B dollar company.

Pioneered and invented the Electronic Boarding Pass kiosks and scanners that modernized today’s airports. I personally was a member of the IATA Common Use Self Service Standards advisory committee responsible for the development of the guidelines that all Airlines and Airports would conform to. During my tenure we deployed 1000’s of systems in 100’s of airports around the globe for airlines such as Continental, Alaska Airlines, Northwestern, Delta, United, Lufthansa, etc. We also printed the first Print At Home boarding passes for Northwest Airlines leading the way to what we all now expect as online check-in. The company was sold to NCR shortly after my departure for a new venture.

Reported into CEO for Hanes/Sara Lee. Invented and implemented the most complex scheduling, delivery and logistics system ever conceived. Built Sara Lee Vendor Managed Inventory which was a AI engine that fed sales data in realtime from POS systems around the world. It used that data in conjunction with logistics data from distribution, suppliers and manufacturing to determine when and what to build so it could be shipped and arrive at the retail outlet to maximize sales. 1st month of operation saw a 17% increase in sales. Also used the AI engine to determine was it called the model stock per SKU per door (retail store). This technology was deployed to 70% of retail stores.

I took a research position at Duke University working for the Provost to design and develop a new set of Admission systems for students and faculty. During my tenure at Duke, Sun Microsystems requested that I begin hosting presentations on their behalf at various conferences. During that process Sara Lee Hosiery (Hanes and Leggs) requested my services to help them develop a strategy to move off classic Mainframe technology into a modern architecture. I spent 6 months assisting with this process in exchange for them making a donation to Duke.
