20 years founding or building 6 companies w/ 4 exits. My career began at B2B software co. Securant where I led marketing until acquisition for $135M by RSA. Next, I founded the interactive agency COG1. My creative work was recognized over 25X across the Clios, Cannes Advertising Festival, The One Show, and more. I used to think those awards were the currency of the realm but that was only because I had yet to understand the power of data especially when combined with creativity. For 11 years I led all business & creative decisions at my agency until one of my clients who ran a VC Firm invited me to join him in starting a game company. So opportunity knocked and I sold my Agency and co-founded the game studio Idle Games. For 5 years I (and others) poured our hearts and souls into Idle Games. Our 1st game was a critical hit but didn’t commercially work. That sucked, but that happens. So I picked myself up & tried again. Our 2nd game “Fresh Deck Poker” was different reaching: * #1 Casino Game in 124 Countries.* Top 100 Grossing Game in 96 Countries* Top 100 Grossing App in 90 CountriesAs with all startups, there were more ups & downs but in the end Idle Games was acquired by Sony/ GSN. After Idle Games, I've been consulting with compelling private and public companies in need of assistance across: marketing, digital strategy, advertising, brand initiatives … all delivered via a highly data driven methodology.While I'm experienced working in the C-Suite for public companies and private equity backed growth organizations I'm also completely comfortable (and satisfied) working in the trenches and getting my hands dirty with exciting early stage companies.
