Jeffrey R. Kuhns is an attorney and the founder of Kuhns Law Firm, PLLC, located in Punta Gorda, Florida. Mr. Kuhns practices business, estate planning, real estate and tax law, serving clients throughout the state of Florida. He has experience with business strategy, probate, trusts and wills.Mr. Kuhns has been licensed to practice law since 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California. Before attending law school, he was employed by the Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education, an organization committed to the preservation of Holocaust testimonials. He went on to attend and graduate from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California.Following law school, Mr. Kuhns worked for the Internal Revenue Service’s office of Chief Council in Los Angeles while obtaining a master of laws degree from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. He later worked for private law firms in Charlotte County and Fort Myers, Florida, before opening his own practice.As part of his business and estate planning practice, Mr. Kuhns advises Florida residents on various legal issues. He has a diverse client base, consisting of permanent and seasonal Florida residents, as well as foreign property owners, purchasers and sellers.
