Director Of Security for a AAA rated four diamond hotel with 22 floors, 409 guest rooms, conference and event spaces, as well as a spa, fitness center, pool, and dining establishments located in Hartford, Connecticut. Responsible for managing a 10 person Security Department including scheduling and payroll and I am also involved with the hiring process for Hotel Security Officers. Responsible for the physical security of the hotel property, guests and associates. I also manage any special security needs for functions held at the hotel including visits or stays of VIP’s. I also oversee the investigations and documentation of incidents at the hotel.I lead the Safety Committee, for the hotel, which is tasked with providing safety related training and information to representatives of each of the hotel’s departments.
