Jeffrey M. Saltzman is the CEO of OrgVitality and an Associated Fellow at the Center for Leadership Studies, School of Management at Binghamton University. He is credited with driving technological improvements now commonly seen in the survey industry, creating a business model focused on scientific rigor and business practicality while aiming for bottom-line results.Mr. Saltzman has over 35 years' experience in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, working in the areas of survey research, strategic planning, organizational development, selection and assessment, training and succession planning. He is a pioneer of new concepts such as Variance Optimization, the application of six-sigma principles to organizational culture and most recently the concept of Employee Confidence, how to measure it, its impact on performance, and how to utilize to improve organizational performance.He has extensive experience in diverse settings, consulting with industry, financial services, retail, media, high technology, service companies, not-for-profits and government agencies on how to improve organizational performance. Based in New York, he has traveled and worked extensively in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. The author of several books and book chapters including From Precarious to Decent Work, (co-authored with Walter Reichman and Mary O'Neill Berry) appearing in Tackling Precarious Work, edited by Carr, Hopner, Hodgetts, Young. (Routledge 2023). The Employee Lifecycle, (co-authored with Scott Brooks and Victoria Hendrickson) appearing in Employee Surveys and Sensing: Challenges and Opportunities (Society Industrial Organizational Psych) by William H. Macey (Editor), Alexis A.
