In the Greater Dayton Ohio Area, it is the mission of the Miami Valley Council to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and in other ways prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential. The values we strive to instill are based on those found in the Scout Oath and Law.

As the Chief Operations Officer/ Director of Field Service of one of the largest Boy Scout councils in the nation, my responsibilities include recruitment of talent, coaching of a 17 member field staff, and advising volunteer personnel to accomplish financial and programatic outcomes in 18 counties of central and southern Ohio as well as northern Kentucky.

Coached and mentored southern field team in a 12 county area to achieve annual fundraising campaign goals in excess of $300,000. Team showed membership enrollment growth in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Served Licking County, Ohio and through volunteer enagagement grew fundraising dollars by 95% and grew annual product sale by 70% during tenure. Annually achieved membership recuritment and fundraising goals during tenure, which lead to earning the National Quality District Award 2005, 2006, 2007.

Served Columbiana County, Ohio and northern Hancock County, West Virginia. Responsibilites included organizing new accounts/ units, budget management of district programs, volunteer and youth recruitment, and fundraising. Earned the National Quality District Award 2002, 2003, 2004.
