Jeff is a Managing Director and serves as Head of Capital Partnerships and Business Development for Fairbridge Asset Management, a specialized, asset-based lender that originates, underwrites, and funds high yield, short-term, mortgage loans to professional real estate investors and developers throughout the United States. Fairbridge manages these assets through several investment vehicles, offering its investors exposure to a diversified portfolio of fully secured real estate bridge loans. Jeff is responsible for leading the firm’s capital-raising efforts as well as managing the Investor Relations platform. He is passionate about educating clients in all facets of the Fairbridge investment process, the opportunity in the bridge lending market, and providing a first-class investor experience. Prior to joining Fairbridge, Jeff gained broad experience over the span of a 25-year career in leveraged finance in institutional sales at Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and UBS. He also was an MD for LakeWater Capital, a Hedge Fund, specializing in managing long and short investment portfolios. Jeff was responsible for raising capital for the firm’s launch and maturation process.Jeff brings a depth of understanding the investment process along with his expertise in sales, lead generation, philanthropy, and pipeline development. He revels in framing out the performance and social-benefit aspects to the firm’s offerings to investors. He also developed a unique skillset outside of leveraged finance through his journey of incubating and managing four non-profits-Swim Across The Sound, Swim Across America, Run Across America and the CT Challenge/Mission that have raised over $150 million for the benefit of cancer research and cancer survivors.
