I was commissioned by the China File to create a series of maps of Chinese and Taiwanese cities. These maps show the ultimate effects of sea level rise, and the current and final geographies of each city.

I led a group of eight employees in an inventory of bike racks, security, and other amenities for cyclists in downtown Seattle commercial buildings, documenting over 1,500 buildings in a three-month period. I authored the final report and and presented findings to city boards and downtown Seattle stakeholders.

♦ Planning Analysis Conducted analyses and visualizations for a variety of campus planning projects. Contributed analysis to precinct planning study of College of Engineering. Developed annual State of Space report to document the spatial distribution of Colleges throughout the UW system.♦ Real Estate Analysis Member of Committee for Land Use Policy, Climate Action Plan. Contributed to the establishment of policy for UW properties in the Climate Action Plan. Managed the development of a GIS for real estate applications. Developed analyses to support transit-oriented development on University properties.♦ Project Management Chair of UW GIS Advisory Committee Implemented a strategy for data and governance of an enterprise GIS for the University. Coordinated with Facilities, Real Estate and Police departments to establish University policies and priorities for the implementation and use of spatial information. Directed a team of CAD technicians and GIS specialists in the creation of spatial data, processes and applications. Performed a variety of stakeholder outreach tasks, including presentations for scoping and progress updates, as well as design demonstrations.♦ GIS Development Designed and implemented strategy for creating and maintaining a system wide GIS for real estate and floor plans. Contributed to analysis and planning of college precincts and the UW West Campus.♦ Process Improvement Implemented efficient processes that improved turn-around times for floor plan GIS update requests by over 90 percent.♦ Reports and Publications Produced departmental publications on the history and current usage of space. Developed procedures for institutional response to federal and state space reporting requirements.
