From my first Texas Instruments Ti 99 home computer on, I have been interested in computers and before that, computing in general. During my recovery from a traumatic accident, I returned to school starting a computer science program. I applied for and received a work/study internship while enrolled and began my profession in Information Technology. While employed in this capacity I provided hardware, software, networking support, maintenance, and administration of varied systems for over 3000 employees across several medical facilities, Dr.'s Offices, hospitals and corporate offices. I am experienced in the installation, maintenance, and administration of various computer systems including: IBM AS400/iSeries, IBM RS6000/pSeries, HP-UX 11i, AIX 4.3, Windows Server 2000/3, Red Hat Linux, Debian and derivative GNU/Linux distributions eg Suse & Ubuntu, Windows Desktop, Mac OS 7, 8, 9, & X, Microsoft Office, among other office productivity applications and suites, and a host of specialized healthcare applicatrions.I have formerly worked as a Broadcast Audio Technician for a global broadcasting network and most recently have trained on various cellphone and other mobile device repair skills in working with both Android & iOS devices to perform diagnostics and component repairs and replacements, but my main focus is still IT systems support.
