I focus my legal practice on trial and appellate litigation, with a concentration in the area of toxic tort and mass tort actions. I routinely represent a variety of Fortune 500 companies, including the management of the national defense of a Fortune 1000 manufacturing company, in toxic tort cases alleging product and/or premise exposure to asbestos. Often working with major joint-defense groups and some of the nation’s leading industrial hygiene defense experts, I have earned considerable success in aggressively defending hundreds of asbestos cases nationwide. In addition to my toxic tort work, Jeff regularly serves as lead counsel, at both the trial and appellate levels, in complex business and real estate-related litigation matters before state and federal courts. I have represented developers, contractors, municipalities, lenders, brokers and homeowner associations in real estate litigation involving land use, zoning, tax increment financing, condemnation, contract, lease, lien and other title disputes. I counsel insurance companies, financial institutions and other business entities in the prosecution and defense of business fraud actions and contract enforcement. My practice also includes the defense of professional malpractice and negligence claims.I have the pleasure of leading Husch Blackwell's Technology, Manufacturing, & Transportation business unit, which allows me to address client needs by building cross-specialty teams to provide a truly full-service experience.
