In my role as Regional Technical Manager at Eagleview, I supported my sales partner in achieving sales objectives and goals. Regional Technical Manager, or RTM for short, was essentially a Sales Engineer role. My territory included Ohio and Michigan, and eventually expanded to include West Virginia and Ontario, Canada.Eagleview is the main vendor for government high-resolution aerial imagery sales and service, providing imagery for government, construction, insurance, roofing, and infrastructure. Having had experience in the government GIS (Geographic Information Systems) industry, I was very knowledable in the computer mapping field and could advise and educate our customers on best practices in using the technology.My main goal was "inculcation", which is instilling supporting clients with the use, deployment, and training of our product and service technologies so when renewals were being considered for our aerial imagery technology, it was an easy yes to renew because of the technology expertise of the staff using it, as well as the impeccable customer support they received.
