Western Heritage Arts Center (WHAC) is a multifaceted arts and humanities project intended top present positive western ideals with the spiritual connectedness to the land and wildlife of the Northern Plains Indian cultures in order to model and preserve our unique American heritage and western American identity. WHAC will provide a sustainable heritage tourism solution for the gateway community of West Yellowstone as it presents living history in an immersive, authentic setting to a world-wide audience of tourists in the area to see Old Faithful only 30 miles away.I've been lead developer, conceptual designer, of the project along with my father Gary Carter and currently lead our start-up Board through the process of Board Search, Land Acquisition, Fund Raising and as a gathering point for design issues, concepts and project component possibilities.

Book Design

YHS is a web-marketing business specializing in the lodging industry, and creators of "OpenBook" property managment software. -Performed the tasks and roles of both marketing director and production manager during it's first 23 Months. Duties included web-master and designer for the original company website, design, copywriting and production of initial branding elements and promotional materials for the Openbook Software product as well as copywriting for executive summary investor materials. -Produced order forms and internal documents as team formulated sales and production processes.-Hand-coded site design, copywriting, content for client xhtml/css sitesweb sites.-Designed, built, produced and created award-winning trade-show booth, collateral materials.-Sole producer of client on-line booking tool integration with the OpenBook software system for the company's first 45 clients.-
