GE Oil & Gas Well Performance Services: Automation & Optimization FP&A LeaderLeading the A&O finance team through the integration into GE and the restructuring of the business as it moves to a higher tier with greater visibility in the hierarchy. Implementing new methodologies and streamlining processes to enable the business to function more efficiently and effectively within the Well Protection Services and the Oil & Gas business. Responsible for all forecasting and planning for the A&O business including leading planning sessions such as Session II, OP, and Blueprint. Partner with commercial and operation teams to ensure successful execution of directives and objectives in achieving our business targets for orders, revenue, CM, and operating margin. Partner with the Services leader and SAP leader to conduct value-stream mapping for the current invoicing process.

Led the global labor metrics project to assist manufacturing leaders in measuring operational efficiency. Established standardization, processes, and rhythms related to this project to ensure effective use and output. Drove global sourcing efficiency project to analyze component pricing globally using both vendors and regions as comparatives in addition to evaluating vendor payment terms and CFOA. Assisted the global transition leader in disintegration activities related to the divestiture of the business from GE. Participated in value stream mapping activities to streamline global operations and attended relevant industry specific conferences such as the Ethanol Summit.

FMP is an intensive two-year early career program spanning four rotational assignments. Managed $150MM Technology R&D and functional cost budget through collaboration with the operations and finance teams; tracked actuals to budget, investigated variances and summarized key drivers for business leadership. Assisted in the merger of the Aero derivatives business with two other gas engines businesses to form Distributed Power. Aided in the restructuring of the business from an all-encompassing outlook to form functional centers of excellence within the new aligned vision. Led 2013 Session II planning for Global Services orders and sales. Partnered with commercial and information management teams to automate the process for uploading sales orders globally. Researched, developed, and launched the Ideas Are Free initiative aimed at encouraging lower level employees to submit ideas for simplification and improvements with the business. Responsible for global balance sheet distribution/publication, account reconciliations, employee functional costs reconciliations, and other treasury related items. Assisted the Operational Controller in launching a global project to consolidate, simplify, and rationalize the usage of our current Chart of Accounts.
