In 2009 I graduated from the STC Rotterdam. I have completed the education 'Manager storage and transportation'. At the STC Rotterdam, I gain a lot of practical experience which can be found under 'experience'. The following companies where I worked for were not known by linkedin but below an overview which companies that where:Ebrex, Schiphol-- Shipping agent (internship)KLM Blue Crown, Schiphol-- Shipping agent (internship)Kales Aircargo trucking, Schiphol-- Junior planner (internship)But I had the feeling that I have to know more about logistics. This feeling had the result to continue studying at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. There are many projects related to logistics, which results in increasing my consulting skills and have the ability to control the supply chain management theory now. I like to give advice to logistic companies so they may/can reduce costs and it's nice to make companies more efficient and effective.In November 2012 I graduated as Engineer at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. At the Hogeschool Rotterdam I learned a lot theoretical subjects regarding logistics. Many projects has learned me to work in groups and I have learned to apply my practical knowledge into the theoretical knowledge I have gained at the Hogeschool Rotterdam. And this combination has shaped me to a young teamplayer who has knowledge of logistics and knows how to apply this in practice.My last project was nominated by Kennisbruggen for the Kennisbruggen inovation price 2012 and become second. This was a recognition for the hard work Bas Kooy Transport, how innovative they are as logistical service provider and my knowledge about logistics and innovative solutions in the sector logistics.At the moment I am working at Glencore Grain BV which is originally a tradinghouse for raw materials. I am responisble for the contract execution of a raw material which is mostly transported via road.
