About Jeff Schneider

Where have I been?In 1998, I formed a technology consultancy, OnSite, serving local businesses and non-profits along with a specialty web application practice that developed tech for Scientific American, Merrill Lynch and analytic tools for McKinsey. In 2007, the IT services practice was sold, leaving me to focus on my passion – all things software.I saw the future in cloud visionary NetSuite, & OnSite was among the first to deliver integrated applications to NetSuite customers.OnSite’s POS for NetSuite won “Best Integrated Solution” in 2008. In 2009, OnSite & NetSuite formed an unprecedented strategic alliance to enter the retail market with a jointly powered multi-channel suite.In 2013, OnSite set out to deliver an Apple POS for SMB & enterprise retailers built on cloud ERP. OnSite was acquired by SuiteRetail & released SuitePOS for NetSuite in 2014. Who am I?I am a founder & director at SuiteRetail - the leader in POS solutions for omnichannel retailers on NetSuite & Salesforce.I am a product visionary & have led the design of several revolutionary POS solutions. I have sold into & have participated hands-on to ensure the success of large retailers who use the solutions I have built.I perform several roles at SuiteRetail including biz development, product management and corporate strategy. I have a deep understanding of retail technology including payment processing, hardware & software design, vendor selection, needs analysis & omnichannel application stacks.I enjoy quick communication with the people I work with. I am never "out of the office" – though I’m sometimes in places with spotty Internet.I wrestled competitively throughout my life and in college & the sport taught me how to grind with a strong will to win. I have practiced & competed in Jiu-Jitsu for many years now & the art has fueled my balanced, but aggressive, viewpoints towards business, success & life.I am happily married & with a beautiful, talented daughter. My desire is to grow as a technology superstar & use my resources to change the world as best I can.
