Among many years volunteering as a coach with local Little League programs, I was elected League President of Teaneck Southern Little League in 1994 becoming the youngest person to serve in that role among the member leagues of District 6. In 2008, I was asked to serve as the Assistant District Administrator, which I did until 2013 when the leagues of District 6 elected me to lead the organization as District Administrator. Today, District 6 is made up of 12 leagues in 17 southern Bergen County towns.Recognizing the inextricable link between Little League, communities and local businesses – which has been present since Little League's founding - among my first acts as District Administrator was to join several area Chambers of Commerce. The building of relationships through my involvement with these organizations has been hugely beneficial to the Little League programs I oversee and to my personal brand. I would like to think that my efforts within the Chambers have elevated those organizations, as well. I am proud to have been selected by the Meadowlands Chamber to lead its Nonprofit Committee where I work with other nonprofit professionals to plan educational and collaborative events as well helping to guide overall Chamber policy as it relates to charitable organizations. Similarly, I was honored to have been voted by the Board of Directors of the Fort Lee Regional Chamber of Commerce to lead that organization as its president for a two-year term beginning in January, 2021. And, beginning in November, 2022, the Chamber's Board validated my work and efforts by appointing me Executive Director of the organization. Overseeing all aspects of its operations, I am pleased to be able to support the small businesses who have been there for our area Little League programs throughout the years.District 6 has benefited from the generosity of many local business partners.
