Recent univeristy graduate interested in creating innovative software that conquers new and exciting challenges. Always furthering my knowledge by learning new programming languages, SDKs and libraries.Significant Projects:• Raytheon Enhanced Command Console (ECC) Redesign (Spring 2011):Raytheon created the ECC to monitor and control high priority conferences among government leaders over a decade ago. The interface had grown old and dated and they sot help from USF. Two fellow students and I redesigned the ECC with a natural user interface (NUI) to showcase emerging interface technologies. The result was an intuitive front end with the capabilities of the old system and an iPad-like feel.Used: Java, Eclipse, JavaFX• Digital Thermometer ASIC (Fall 2010):Designed an application specific integrated circuit which took a temperature in Celius and was able to output: current; minimum; maximum; and average temperature. Each output could also be displayed in Celsius or converted to Farenheight.Used: Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys HSpice, Synopsys Nanosim.• Two player chess (Summer 2010):Developed a graphical user interface (GUI) to play chess on. Players could load preset games from plain text files or configure the board to their liking. Once the game started, players were restricted to legal moves only.Used: Java, Eclipse, Swing• RAM Simulation (Spring 2010):Developed a RAM simulator with configurable total memory size, block size, and replacement policy. Provided multiple trace files with 1,000,000 requests each, the simulator tracked cache hits, misses, and replacements.Used: C++• Readers + Writers Multithreading (Spring 2010):Developed a simulation of IO read and write requests.
