After teaching myself qBASIC in the fourth grade I grew an interest in computers that finally extended beyond the simple computer games I was able to play. This love only grew through the years as I first learned simple HTML and JavaScript, then the basics of C++, before being tossed into the world of modern site development of PHP, MySQL, SCSS, and everything else.I love nothing more than having a well-defined end goal, an extensive design document and an accurate mockup, and solving every little problem that stands between me and the end. Seeing that last element of a page or this one function of a script run flawlessly is like clicking that last piece of a puzzle into place.

My major project was an abstracted recreation of the Big Bang, leading up to the formation of planets and hopefully life, using sound as an input, but I also helped on a life simulator for PBS and did much research and visualization of the lac operon in E Coli cells. -
