Maintained relationships up to SVP & C-Level; and throughout credit services, marketing, finance/treasury and store operations. Presented and led discussions and sell-in of products and services at all levels.• Develop strategic focus for accounts and industries, partnership marketing & sales, contractual negotiation and closing, elevate and broaden contacts.• Direct P&L responsibility for each account with focus on cost savings initiatives and profit growth goals. • Develop and sell-in partnership marketing programs utilizing customer segmentation modeling, project/agency management & analytics.

Director, Strategy & Business Development, North America Merchant Acquisition (January 2000 – January 2003)• Lead a team of 5 people and global partners in analyzing new card acceptance opportunities; structuring, negotiating and closing card acceptance deals with large market accounts (all industries; retailers with annual sales of ~$1B+)• Develop and implement acquisition strategy for strategic accounts, long-term holdouts, and new industry accounts.• Team responsible for the deal structure and negotiation of all Card Acceptance Agreements with prospective partners for a 60 person sales force for all large market accounts and 120 person small/middle market sales force. Responsibilities include legal, risk, operations & marketing in negotiations.
